This organization started from a small group of women who have been through abuse and understand the struggles of starting over. As advocates for abused women in the St. Charles county area, we have witnessed a gap in the support provided. This video is an explanation of that gap and testimonials of women we have supported over the years.
The vision of our organization is to provide resources for women when they are ready to start over after leaving an abusive relationship. For example, the organization provides deposits for housing, assistance with monthly rent, gift cards for groceries, transportation assistance, assistance with utilities, support groups, and advocacy. Each woman is treated as an individual and help is assessed based on need. Success is helping these women become independent.
